The insulating pitch pump is suitable for transporting pitch, paraffin and other substances with media at 350 ° C, made of cast steel, with a viscosity of not higher than 40mm2 / s, not containing solid particles, and solidified in normal temperature, outdoor installation in alpine regions, and occasions that require insulation during the process. It allows the incoming of heat conducting oil, hot water, steam, etc. to the transport medium to heat and keep warm the conveying medium.
II. Working principle
The pump body of the insulation pitch pump is equipped with a pair of rotary gears, one of which is active and the other is passive; the entire working cavity in the pump is divided into two independent parts (Figure 1) through the engagement between the two gears: A is the oil absorbing cavity, and B is the discharging cavity. When the pump is running, the active gear can drive the rotation of the passive gear; when the gear is disengaged from engaged, local vacuum is formed on the absorbing side (A), and the liquid is sucked in the pump under the action of atmospheric pressure; the liquid sucked into the pump fills each tooth of the gear, and is then taken to the oil discharging side (B); the liquid is extruded when the gear enters engagement, which forms high pressure liquid and is discharged out of the pump through the pump outlet. When the gear keeps rotating, sides A and B are constantly sucking and discharging oil.
